About the Opportunity

Siren Communications is looking for an Account Executive to join our growing team in Toronto.

This is an opportunity for someone with 3–5 years of public relations or agency experience who is an exceptional writer, highly organized, and eager to build their career in travel and tourism communications. You'll work directly with Siren's leadership and senior client teams on communications programs for some of the world's leading travel, tourism, and hospitality brands, gaining hands-on experience across media relations, social media, events, and destination marketing. 

From luxury hotels and tourism boards to destination launches, media events, social campaigns, and press trips, you'll contribute to high-profile communications programs that inspire people to explore the world.

What You'll Do

  • Execute integrated public relations and social media programs for a portfolio of leading travel and tourism clients

  • Bring a social-first mindset to every campaign, identifying opportunities to extend stories across earned, owned, and creator channels.

  • Develop polished media pitches, press releases, briefing materials, social content, reports, and other communications that meet Siren's high editorial standards

  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, producers, creators, influencers, and industry partners across Canada

  • Execute proactive outreach that secures meaningful coverage 

  • Assist in the planning and execution of media visits, press trips, launches, special events, and industry activations

  • Monitor media and social coverage, prepare campaign reports, and help measure the impact of client programs

  • Prepare media lists, briefing materials, campaign recaps, and other client deliverables with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop creative ideas and deliver outstanding work for every client

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related agency environment

  • An exceptional writer with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to producing polished, client-ready work

  • Strong media relations skills and confidence pitching journalists and content creators

  • Experience creating engaging social media content and an understanding of how social and earned media work together

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • A genuine interest in travel, tourism, hospitality, and the stories that inspire people to explore the world

  • A high standard of professionalism, sound judgment, and attention to detail

  • Someone who is collaborative, proactive, resourceful, and committed to producing exceptional work

Bilingualism (English and French) is highly preferred. Experience pitching and working with Québec and French-language media is a significant asset.

Location

This is a full-time position based at our Yorkville office in Toronto. We believe collaboration is strongest when we're together, so this is primarily an in-office role, with flexibility to work from home when appropriate.
