One of the treats here at Siren is sharing office space with the bright and beautiful team behind The Society. They are not only whip smart and genuinely kind, but also engage us in a daily game of fashion chicken (which we lose consistently). When your office-mates are always impeccably dressed, it drives you to throw on the heels, and spend a little more time on sartorial decisions in the morning. Another exciting perk is being invited to their remarkable events. The Society is unfaltering in their attention to detail when throwing a soirée – each event hits the mark with decor, food, venue and of course the crowd they draw.

This week we were excited to attend the Parisian inspired fete in honour of the fragrance Love by Chloé. Set in a stunning home on Bedford – just a block from Siren and The Society headquarters – the party was a feminine dream. Swathed in pink roses and glimmering with candlelight, the rooms quickly filled with the well heeled members of The Society, along with some of Canada’s top beauty and lifestyle media. We sipped the Yellow Tail bubbles, sniffed the scent and gabbed with pals we hadn’t seen since…well probably since LG Fashion Week (was that really just a week ago?) Another highlight was the performance by world renowned opera singer Gioria Fumanti. It was all enough to make a girl want to run away to Paris.

The fragrance itself is lovely (pun intended) and we highly recommend giving it a whiff. We also recommend joining The Society. Not only do they throw arguably the city’s best parties, but membership means being plugged in to deals both at home and abroad, including NYC, Miami and L.A.
